From 2012 CSO is revising its advisory committees into a single committee. See the announcement for details. This page will be updated in due course to reflect the changes.
The Experimental and Translational Medicine Research Committee (until January 2010 called Biomedical and Therapeutic Research Committee) comprises prominent men and women from the research community and NHSScotland, as well as Chief Scientist Office staff and consumer representatives. This specialist standing committee advises on the scientific merit and relevance to health of individuals in Scotland of funding applications.
The committee normally meets three times each year.
Minutes of meetings are available to download. If the minutes you require are not available please contact CSO.
