CSO Training Initiatives
A long term aim of CSO is to improve the R&D skills base within NHSScotland and so facilitate the development of knowledge-based practice.
CSO offers a number of research training opportunities to individuals who wish to pursue a career in research in a health care related field or who would like to build on their research skills:

The Chief Scientist Office is particularly committed to developing research skills in primary care, on a multidisciplinary basis.
