Criteria on which applications will be judged

Applications will be independently peer reviewed. They will be judged according to:

academic quality of the proposed research

the candidate's research track record

feasibility of the proposed activity

contribution of the fellowship to the host institution's research programme

relevance of the research to health policy and practice in Scotland

dissemination plans, including likely impact on health research in Scotland

Applications may be submitted at any time. Decisions will normally be made within two months of receipt.
