Joint NES/CSO Postdoctoral Clinical Lecturer Scheme

NHS Education Scotland and the Chief Scientist Office are delighted to announce the launch of their Joint Postdoctoral Clinical Lecturer Scheme.

Applications are invited from speciality registrars in training who hold a Scottish NTN and have completed a PhD and wish to spend 50% of their time on research and 50% of their time in clinical training. As such these Lectureships posts are integrated academic training posts and will run until the CCT has been achieved.

Candidates need to get confirmation from both their deanery, clinical employer and their proposed higher education institution that they will be supported in this position and a plan is in place to ensure they are still able to achieve their CCT.

The deadline for applications is 5 pm on Tuesday 28th February 2017.

Applications will be shortlisted by a panel and interviews held in May, with a view to Lectureships starting at a convenient time from August 2017.
