Response Mode Research Grants – Open for Applications

CSO are delighted to announce that outline applications are now open for the next round of the Response Mode Research Grant schemes.

The CSO Response mode research grant scheme is accepting applications for up to 36 months and up to a total of £350,000 at 80% full economic cost, to one of two research advisory committees: Translational Clinical Studies (TCS) Research Committee and Health Improvement, Protection and Services (HIPS) Research Committee. For more information on the remit of each committee and type of applications that are appropriate, please see the committee pages.

To apply, please complete the outline application on the new CSO Grants Management system. Applications must be submitted using the forms available on the grants management system and should not be submitted using the old electronic forms. Applicants will be able to submit and manage their applications through all the pre-award and post-award stages. For more detail on the application process, please go to the CSO Grant funding page. The outline application deadline is Friday 27 June 2025.
