SINAPSE/CSO Award for Clinical Imaging Innovation and Partnership

Posted by: Julie Simpson - Posted on:

We have joined with SINAPSE to support a clinical imaging research or training project (£10,000) involving partnership between a SINAPSE partner institution and at least one external organisation. The main purpose of the funding is to facilitate innovative, clinically focussed imaging developments in Scotland.

Criteria for selection include:

  • evidence of the project’s contribution to a Scottish imaging research base that is internationally competitive and improving its reputation and standing in the world;
  • potential for wider benefits to Scottish clinical imaging research or training as a result of the project; and
  • potential for significant impact on health in Scotland as a result of the project.

This funding is available only to SINAPSE members affiliated with a partner institution (Universities of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, St. Andrews, Stirling, Strathclyde, and Scottish NHS Boards). Priority will be given to proposals involving some external match funding.

Closing date for applications is Friday 13 November 2020. Proposals should be submitted to Dr Kristin Flegal (kristin.flegal@glasgow.ac.uk).

The application form is available to downloaded from the SINAPSE website
