The Committee considers applications for research aimed at improving or protecting population health or improving the quality, safety and/or effectiveness of healthcare in Scotland. Applications demonstrate the relevance and importance of the research and its potential for significant impact on health in Scotland, with a clear pathway for translation of the results into policy and/or practice.
